Community engagement
OTTCO regards itself as a responsible corporate citizen and an important part of the community. Our business is designed to operate in such a way that it identifies and supports the economic needs of the communities in which we work. The ministerial support that we have received in the course of our development is driven by the expectation that we will contribute positively to Oman’s economy. We have every intention of delivering on that promise.
Our community engagement programme has a strong focus on ‘giving back’ to the Omani people. We owe our existence to the Omani government and society and we are committed to providing jobs and developing the knowledge and expertise of local people. Our outreach aims, particularly, to benefit the people of Oman’s Wusta region in both the short- and long-term, fostering pride and support for our business. Support for our local community is a high priority for OTTCO, and this commitment exists among employees at every level of our organisation.
